Book for You and a Friend at a Special Price Individual Price: £150 For You and a Friend: £250 Join Our Improver’s Course Ready to take your AcroYoga practice to the next level? Our Improver’s Course is designed to help you transition smoothly into our intermediate classes by building on foundational skills and introducing more dynamic movements and flows, including washing machines and other fun transitions. What to Expect: Warm-up Every AcroYoga class begins with a thorough warm-up to prepare your body for movement. This may include gentle stretching, breathwork, and joint mobility exercises to increase flexibility and prevent injury. Partner Work AcroYoga is all about connection and collaboration. You'll work closely with a partner (or small group) to practice various poses and movements. The course will focus on both static poses (where you hold a position) and dynamic flows (where you move fluidly between poses). Spotting & Safety Safety is our top priority. In this course, you'll learn how to effectively spot your partner to ensure both their safety and yours. Spotting is an essential skill for any AcroYogi, especially when performing more challenging poses or transitions. You'll practice drills that will help you master the role of a spotter—guiding, assisting, and ensuring everyone feels secure during the practice. Understanding Roles AcroYoga revolves around two main roles: Base: The person who provides support and stability, typically keeping most of their body on the ground. The base is responsible for lifting and balancing the flyer with control and precision. Flyer: The person who is lifted or supported. Flyers focus on balancing and engaging their core, maintaining alignment, and staying fluid in movement. In this course, we'll dive into both roles, exploring the physical and mental aspects of each. You’ll have the chance to practice both roles, helping you gain a better understanding of the entire AcroYoga experience. Clear Communication Communication is key in AcroYoga. You’ll learn specific hand signals and verbal cues to communicate effectively with your partner, ensuring smooth transitions and enhanced safety throughout the practice. We are committed to creating a supportive, fun, and safe learning environment. Our goal is to help you progress confidently, whether you're a beginner or looking to refine your skills. We look forward to working with you on your AcroYoga journey! Anna & Eugéne
